Edvin absolutely does not throw small rocks at small children, and the apocalypse brings some changes.
It all started on a train ride from Gothenburg to Lund. Today Edvin is one of my favorite people on the planet, and I'm pretty fond of these two books as well.
(As far as I know, real-life Edvin does not throw rocks at anyone.)
A tale of loneliness and the human imagination. Of the grey areas that might come into existense in those dark hours of night.
It might not be about saving the princess, or the prince. Nor about having someone save you from walking through this harsh world alone.
You might do perfectly fine on your own, but having someone beside you would still be nice.
Look - there's a tower -
The clock is ticking.
Shhh...
If you don't wake up, it's not a dream.

A story told through ink splashes, some modifications and a few chosen words.

On the 8th of March 2020 I travelled to Athens to visit a friend, and was looking forward to new experiences and a change of scenery.
The Nordic countries had at this point only seen a few cases of covid-19, and the government had not yet issued any general travel warnings.
Four days later it was evident that my decision had not been a wise one.
On March 14 Norway shut down.
After somehow getting back to Sweden, I spent the next three months in quarantine at a folk high school in Kungälv together with about 50 friends and acquaintances. And meanwhile in Norway, my family and other loved ones were living a very different kind of life.
If I were to go home, which in many ways did feel like the right thing to do, I might not be able to go back to school before end-of-term. The plan was already to move back at the beginning of summer, a decision I had begun to doubt was the right one. I didn't feel ready to close any doors just yet. So I stayed.
This is the story of those days and others, against the backdrop of a large sketchbook which had previously served mostly as a table protector for when I was messing around with inks.
